If you’re a Touro faculty member and would like to volunteer as a preceptor at the Student-Run Free Clinic please drop us a line. We would love to have your medical, OMM, pharm, and public health expertise and guidance!

Licensed physicians from the greater community are also welcome to volunteer as preceptors at the SRFC. Internal and Family Medicine specialists are especially needed. If you are interested, please send us an email with your resume or CV and contact information. A member of the Touro University administration will follow up shortly to verify your credentials and explain the rest of the enrollment process.

You can also download our preceptor manual (PDF) to get a better sense of how volunteer physicians foster hands-on learning for Touro students while caring for patients at the SRFC.

How you can help:

  • Service. Partner with us provide a valuable service to Vallejo’s medically underserved community.
  • Guidance. Help students learn in a clinical setting and work one-on-one with passionate student health professionals.
  • Team size. The more preceptors we have on-site, the more students (and therefore patients!) we can accomodate in the clinic.
  • Interprofessionalism. Work with students and faculty preceptors from Touro COM, COP, PA and MPH programs on a variety of health issues and have fun getting to know students and colleagues better!
